History:
Initially developed in the 1970s, the F-15 Eagle earned a reputation as one of the world’s most capable jet fighters. The F-15E Strike Eagle emerged in the 1980s as a response to the need for a dual-role aircraft capable of penetrating enemy territory and conducting precision strikes. Equipped with the LANTRIN navigation and targeting system, and able to carry an 11-ton payload including bunker-busting bombs, the F-15E was deployed in multiple conflicts from the Gulf War onward. Its twin-engine design, advanced avionics, and powerful radar continue to make it a core asset in U.S. Air Force operations today.
