Fiat G.91 1:48 Scale Model Kit
The Italian aeronautical company developed the single-engine fighter-bomber Fiat G.91 in the early 1950s. Designed by the renowned engineer Giuseppe Gabrielli, it was characterised by an aerodynamic layout with swept wings and compact dimensions that ensured significant in-flight manoeuvrability.
Its strong performance enabled the G.91 to win the NATO competition aimed at identifying a tactical support aircraft that was easy to produce, yet versatile and flexible, capable of equipping the air units of member countries. The Fiat G.91 was employed by the Italian Air Force, as well as by Germany and Portugal.
Armed, in the “R” version, with four 12.7 mm nose mounted machine guns, it could carry an offensive payload of 700 kg on underwing pylons.
