History:
Foot knights played a central role in the Battle of Agincourt in 1415, where French men-at-arms advanced on foot due to muddy conditions and tight terrain. Clad in full plate armour, these elite warriors formed the backbone of the French assault, attempting to break through the English defensive lines under a storm of longbow fire. Many were nobles and seasoned campaigners, fighting not only for honour but for feudal duty and ransom. Despite their superior armour and martial skill, the narrow battlefield and English tactics led to heavy losses among the French nobility.
