History
The E-737 “Peace Eye” is South Korea’s strategic airborne early warning and control aircraft, developed in collaboration with Boeing and Northrop Grumman. Based on the Boeing 737-700 airframe, it incorporates the advanced MESA (Multi-role Electronically Scanned Array) radar capable of monitoring hundreds of targets at once. Delivered between 2011 and 2012, four aircraft entered service with the Republic of Korea Air Force to bolster airspace surveillance, threat detection, and regional defence. The Peace Eye plays a key role in maintaining situational awareness over the Korean Peninsula, enhancing interoperability with allied forces, and strengthening South Korea’s modern air defence network.
Note: This model kit requires assembly and painting. Glue, paints and tools are not included and must be purchased separately.
