History:
The Mikoyan MiG-29A, codenamed “Fulcrum” by NATO, was developed in the 1970s as a response to new American fighters such as the F-16 and F/A-18. Entering service in 1983, it became a key element of Soviet and later Russian air power, offering excellent manoeuvrability, powerful engines, and advanced avionics for its time. Capable of carrying a wide range of air-to-air missiles and a 30mm cannon, the MiG-29A was exported to numerous nations and remains in service worldwide. Its sleek design and combat record made it one of the most iconic fighters of the late Cold War era.
