History:
The Panavia Tornado, developed through a joint project by the UK, Germany, and Italy, entered service in the late 1970s as a multirole combat aircraft. Its variable-sweep wings and advanced avionics gave it the ability to perform low-level strike missions, air defence, and reconnaissance. The Tornado has seen extensive service, including in the Gulf War, the Balkans, and operations in the Middle East. It served as the backbone of several European air forces for decades, reflecting the collaborative effort of NATO nations to produce a high-performance, versatile combat jet.
