History:
Introduced in 1939, the Boeing 314 Clipper was designed to fulfil Pan American’s vision of global air travel. With a range of over 3,500 miles and room for passengers, crew, and cargo, the Clipper brought unprecedented reach and comfort to the skies. It quickly became a symbol of prestige and progress. However, its civilian career was cut short by war, and the aircraft transitioned to military duties. Used for VIP transport and strategic missions, the Clipper proved its worth in both peace and conflict. Today, it is remembered as one of the most beautiful and influential aircraft of its time.
