Ammo Paint Set
ATOM-20750 ATOM Early WWII Japanese Army Colours Set
This four-colour acrylic paint set is specifically designed to replicate the authentic camouflage used by the Imperial Japanese Army during the early stages of the Second World War. It is ideal for painting vehicles such as the Type 95 Ha-Go light tank, Type 94 and Type 97 Te-Ke tankettes, and the Type 89 I-Go and Type 97 Chi-Ha medium tanks.
The included colours based on historical research represent the shades applied in both Chinese and Pacific island campaigns between 1937 and 1942. With accurate tones including Earth, Medium Brown, Dark Green, and Faded Yellow, this set eliminates the guesswork and time spent mixing paints, ensuring consistent and historically correct finishes.
ATOM paints are water-based with lacquer-like performance, delivering self-levelling behaviour, fast drying times, and superior covering power. Their finish is highly durable and compatible with acrylics, enamels, lacquers, and more aggressive products such as decal solutions.
Each paint is packaged in a clear 20ml bottle with an easy-to-use vertical dropper cap for one-handed operation. The paints are non-toxic, odourless, and can be applied directly from the bottle or thinned with ATOM-20500 Thinner for enhanced flow control.
