ATOM-20737 ATOM U.S. Armour WWII Paint Set
This six-colour acrylic paint set is specifically curated for painting U.S. armoured vehicles from the Second World War. It provides historically accurate colours for a wide range of vehicles including the M3 and M5 Stuart, M24 Chaffee, M22 Locust, M3 Lee, M4 Sherman, M26 Pershing, M7 Priest, M8 and M12 Howitzer motor carriages, M40 GMC, M18 Hellcat, M10 and M36 tank destroyers, M3 and M8 Greyhounds, and half-tracks such as the M3.
The set includes essential colours: U.S. Dark Olive Drab for base coats, Chipping for exposed edges and wear, Gun Metal for weapons and tools, a dark tone for Rubber & Tyres, and Washable Dust for creating realistic weathering effects. It also includes ATOM Thinner & Cleaner for thinning or cleaning.
ATOM paints use a water-based formula that behaves like lacquer, offering exceptional self-levelling, quick drying times, and superior coverage. Once cured, they are highly durable and compatible with acrylics, enamels, lacquers, and decal solutions. Each 20ml bottle is transparent and fitted with a one-handed dropper cap. The paints are non-toxic and odourless, making them safe for indoor use.
They can be used directly from the bottle or thinned with ATOM-20500/20510/20520 Thinner & Cleaner or ATOM-20501/20511/20521 Thinner with Retarder, depending on your preference and application method.
