Ammo Paint Set
ATOM-20741 ATOM WWII Soviet Vehicles Camouflage Colours Set
This paint set includes four historically accurate acrylic colours designed to replicate the camouflage schemes used on Soviet armoured vehicles during the Second World War. From the single-colour finishes of early-war KV and T-34 tanks to the more complex three-tone patterns introduced later, this set provides everything needed to authentically recreate Red Army camouflage through the key phases of the conflict.
In the early 1940s, camouflage was minimal primarily 4BO Green. As the war progressed, especially by late 1941, Soviet regulations introduced a three-tone scheme comprising 4BO Green, Yellow 7K, and Dark Brown 6K. These patterns were typically reserved for static defences or ambush tactics, notably among self-propelled artillery units. From 1943 onward, camouflage usage decreased again, as offensive strategies took precedence.
ATOM paints feature a water-based formula that behaves like a lacquer, offering self-levelling performance, fast drying, and excellent coverage. Their tough, resilient finish is compatible with acrylics, enamels, lacquers, and even harsher products like decal solutions. Supplied in transparent 20ml bottles with a one-handed dropper cap, these paints are non-toxic and odourless.
They may be applied straight from the bottle or thinned using ATOM Thinner and Cleaner (ATOM-20500/20510/20520) or with Retarder (ATOM-20501/20511/20521) for improved flow and working time.
