History:
The Nissan Skyline HGC210, produced from 1977 to 1981, was part of the fourth-generation Skyline family, often referred to as the “Skyline Japan.” Known for its angular design and variety of trims, the Skyline quickly became a favourite among young drivers and car enthusiasts. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Japan’s “Grand Champion” racing series and kaido racer street culture popularised heavily customised Skylines with wide-body kits, aggressive aero parts, and bold paint schemes. These cars embodied both rebellion and creativity, influencing a generation of Japanese tuning and motorsport culture. The More Grand Champion Skyline Japan 4DR reflects this era, celebrating the transformation of a factory saloon into a symbol of individuality and racing spirit. Today, it remains an icon of Japan’s custom car history and a favourite subject for scale modellers.
