History:
The Hurricane Mk IIC entered RAF service in 1942, fitted with four 20 mm Hispano cannons under the wings. It proved potent against both air and ground targets during the mid- and late-war period. Often deployed in North Africa and Mediterranean theatres, the Mk IIC symbolised the Hurricane’s evolution into a heavily armed and versatile wartime fighter.
