History:
The Sea Hurricane Mk IIC was adapted from the land based Mk IIC for naval use aboard escort carriers. It included an arrestor hook and naval instruments to operate from deck cruisers in the Atlantic and Mediterranean from 1941 to 1944. This carrier capable fighter helped protect convoys from air and submarine threats with its four 20 mm cannon armament.
