History:
After WWII, the Yak‑1b was used by Polish-LWF and Czechoslovak Air Forces under Soviet-supplied fleets. This Allied Service set includes alternative markings representing those post-war operators, highlighting the Yak‑1b’s role beyond the Eastern Front. A significant piece of Cold War aviation history.
