History:
The German 7.5cm PaK 40 was developed as Allied tank armour became more formidable. Introduced in 1942, it became one of the most effective anti-tank guns of the war, capable of penetrating most Allied vehicles at range. Operated in theatres from the Eastern Front to North Africa, the gun’s low profile and powerful ammunition made it both deadly and versatile. Crews, often deployed in snow and ice, were equipped with heavy winter gear to operate effectively in freezing conditions. This kit captures both the technical and human elements of the PaK 40 in wartime service.
