History:
The Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H was introduced in 1943 as part of Germany’s efforts to increase the effectiveness of their medium tanks against better-armoured Allied vehicles. Key improvements included the L/48 75mm gun, improved armour protection including side skirts (Schürzen), and a reinforced chassis. The Ausf.H played a significant role on both the Eastern and Western Fronts, seeing extensive service in varied environments. This kit captures the engineering and battlefield presence of one of WWII’s most widely used German tanks.
