History:
The Tiger I entered service with German forces in 1942 and quickly gained a reputation for battlefield dominance, particularly on the Eastern Front and in North Africa. Although complex and expensive to produce, the Tiger I left a lasting impression on the armoured warfare doctrine of the 20th century.
