In the post-war years, the Triumph name was revived by Standard to re-establish the brand’s sporting reputation. The TR range began with the TR2 in 1953 and reached its pinnacle with the TR6, the last of the traditional separate chassis TRs. The nimble Spitfire, derived from the Herald, offered an affordable and lively roadster experience, while the elegant Stag launched in 1970 as a luxury GT with Italian-inspired design. Together, these three vehicles embody Triumph’s spirit of engineering, racing pedigree, and innovative design from the 1950s through the 1970s.
