History
The AEG G.IV was a twin-engine bomber used by the Imperial German Air Service during World War I, serving from late 1916 through to the war’s end. Crewed by four men, the bomber carried out long-range bombing missions and reconnaissance flights, often over heavily defended targets. The pilot and co-pilot managed the aircraft’s controls, while the gunners defended against enemy aircraft and ground fire. Representing the full crew in scale helps bring these missions to life in dioramas, showcasing the teamwork and coordination required to operate such a large and complex aircraft under wartime conditions.
