History
The Garford-Putilov armoured car, a heavy fighting vehicle introduced during World War I, was often deployed in challenging operational environments across the Eastern Front. Its original radiator design, while functional, could be prone to overheating under prolonged use, particularly in warm weather or during extended manoeuvres. As a result, improved radiator designs were introduced, either at the factory or in the field, to enhance cooling efficiency and extend the service life of the engine.
