History
The Triumph Model H, introduced in 1915, became one of the most significant motorcycles in military history. Widely used by the British Army during WWI, it earned the nickname “The Trusty” due to its reliability and ease of maintenance. Equipped with a 550cc single-cylinder engine and belt drive, it was deployed for dispatch riding, reconnaissance, and general military transport. Over 30,000 units were produced for wartime service, cementing its place as an enduring symbol of early motorised warfare.
