History:
The Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero-Sen was introduced in 1940 and quickly established itself as the most capable carrier-based fighter of its time. Combining long range with exceptional agility, the Zero gave Japan a decisive edge during the early years of the Pacific War, most notably in the attack on Pearl Harbor and the sweeping advances across Southeast Asia. Despite its light construction, the A6M2’s performance shocked Allied pilots and forced rapid changes in air combat tactics. Although later outclassed by newer fighters such as the F6F Hellcat and F4U Corsair, the Zero remained in service until the war’s end, becoming one of the most recognisable symbols of Japanese aviation. This Forces of Valor model pays tribute to the aircraft’s historic legacy with detailed craftsmanship and authentic presentation.
