U.S. Olive Drab Set CS-11
LifeColor paints are high-quality water-based acrylic colours formulated for scale modelling across multiple surfaces including plastic, resin, metal, vinyl, wood, cloth, and ceramic. Suitable for both brush painting and airbrushing, they offer excellent coverage and finish.
This set features six essential tones for authentic U.S. military finishes:
- UA 219 Lusterless Olive Drab FS 33070 – Body colour used up to 1943
- UA 220 Lusterless Olive Drab 319 – Body colour used from 1944 to 1945
- UA 221 Khaki Olive Drab FS 34088 approx. – Alternate shade used 1944–1945
- UA 222 Olive Drab FS 34088 – Used from 1944 through to 1950
- UA 223 Olive Drab Faded Type 1 – For weathered and sun-exposed surfaces
- UA 224 Olive Drab Faded Type 2 – Subtle variation for layered finishes
Note: Federal Standard Code FS 34087 was replaced with FS 34088.
Using LifeColor:
- Ensure surfaces are clean before painting.
- Thin with water or LifeColor Thinner for airbrush use.
- Airbrush at low pressure (10–20 psi) for best results.
- Apply in light coats, allowing each to dry fully.
- Clean brushes and airbrushes with water or LifeColor Cleaner.
