History:
The Raupenschlepper Ost (RSO) was a fully tracked utility vehicle developed by Germany to cope with the muddy, snowy conditions of the Eastern Front. Originally used for towing and transport, its adaptability made it ideal for various field modifications. The Feldküche, or field kitchen, was essential to morale and sustenance in remote postings. Although no surviving evidence shows this exact configuration, the concept of mounting a field kitchen on an RSO reflects the practical improvisations common during the war. MiniArt’s kit blends authentic vehicle design with a believable “what-if” field support role, offering modellers a fresh take on WWII soft-skin vehicles.
