VMS No-Peel Primer No. 1 in White is a versatile, high-quality primer that combines the strength of solvent-based products with the ease and safety of water-based application. It delivers excellent adhesion to a wide range of surfaces and is ideal for both base coating and precision pre-shading techniques.
While this white primer is often used for highlighting and modulation, it is fully suited to all model types, including aircraft, vehicles, miniatures and scenic elements. It bonds securely to resin, metal, plastic and 3D prints, making it a dependable first step in any painting process.
This primer is pre-thinned to a viscosity of 40 cSt for smooth airbrushing with no thinning required. A 0.2mm nozzle offers excellent control for detail work, while larger sizes allow for quicker coverage. Recommended working pressure is 30 PSI, though it performs well between 20 and 40 PSI.
Thanks to the ultra-fine binder, detail remains sharp and defined. Paint can be applied after 2 hours of natural drying, or after 30 minutes with forced drying. Clean-up is easy with tap water. For more thorough maintenance, use VMS Airbrush Cleaners Pro Acrylic every few sessions.
Note: This acrylic product must be stored and handled at room temperature. Do not allow to freeze. Shelf life is at least 36 months when kept in a cool, dark place.
