History:
The 8,8 cm Flak series was originally developed as an anti-aircraft gun for the German Luftwaffe, but it soon proved equally effective in a ground role against tanks and fortifications. The Flak 37 was an improved variant with refined targeting equipment, and it became one of the most feared weapons of the war. Mounted on the Sd.Anh.202 trailer, it could be transported quickly to changing battlefronts. During the war, the 8,8 cm gun gained legendary status for its versatility and destructive power, serving in North Africa, on the Eastern Front, and in the defence of Germany. Its effectiveness ensured its place as one of the most iconic artillery pieces of the 20th century.
