History:
The Sd.Kfz. 234/2 Puma was a German armoured car introduced during World War II. Equipped with an effective 50mm KwK 39/1 gun and strong reconnaissance capabilities, it was designed for speed and mobility rather than heavy combat. Produced in limited numbers between 1943 and 1944, the Puma was highly valued for its advanced design, featuring an eight-wheeled configuration that allowed excellent cross-country performance. It served primarily on the Western Front, providing vital intelligence and occasionally engaging light enemy units. Despite its short production run, the Puma became one of the most recognisable German reconnaissance vehicles of the war and continues to be a popular subject for scale modellers and military historians.
