History:
The Panavia Tornado was developed through international collaboration between the UK, West Germany, and Italy, entering service in the early 1980s. Designed as a multirole combat aircraft, the IDS variant became the backbone of NATO’s strike capability during the Cold War and later conflicts. It proved its value in operations such as the 1991 Gulf War, where it carried out precision low-level strikes.
