History:
The Kruzenshtern, originally launched as the Padua in 1926, is one of the last surviving Flying P Liners built by the German shipping company F. Laeisz. After World War II, the vessel was handed over to the Soviet Union as war reparations and renamed in honour of the Russian explorer Adam Johann von Krusenstern. Today, the Kruzenshtern serves under the Russian Ministry of Fisheries as a training ship for cadets and regularly takes part in international regattas, where her towering sails and graceful lines make her a highlight of maritime gatherings. As both a working vessel and a living piece of nautical history, the Kruzenshtern continues to inspire sailors and ship modellers alike.
