History
The StuG III Ausf. G was the final production variant of Germany’s highly successful assault gun series. By 1943, the line was expanded to include the Sturmhaubitze 42 (StuH 42), which featured a short 105mm howitzer for close infantry support. Both versions used the same Panzer III chassis and were built in large numbers to replace tank losses and provide affordable armoured firepower. Their low silhouette made them effective in ambush roles, and they were widely deployed across all fronts. The ability to build either vehicle from this kit provides excellent versatility for modellers interested in late-war German AFVs.
