History:
The British Matilda Mark II infantry tank earned a reputation for durability and battlefield resilience. Introduced before the Second World War, it played a key role during the Battle of France and proved especially effective in North Africa, where its heavy armour outclassed many Axis tanks. Despite its relatively slow speed and limited gun power, the Matilda was beloved by crews and respected by opponents. Under the Lend-Lease programme, the Soviet Union also received Matildas, deploying them across the Eastern Front. This kit captures the spirit of that global deployment with options for multiple paint schemes and campaign settings.
