Tamiya Plastic Model Kit
A6M3/3A Zero (Zeke) (1/48) 61108
This 1/48 scale Tamiya kit reproduces the Mitsubishi A6M3 and A6M3a Zero fighters, widely regarded as some of the most balanced and capable variants of the iconic Japanese Navy aircraft. The A6M3 Model 32, introduced in mid-1942, offered improved high-altitude performance and top speed but suffered reduced range due to a shorter wingspan and smaller fuel capacity. To address these shortcomings, the Model 22 appeared in 1943, restoring range with in-wing fuel tanks, refining aerodynamics, and achieving speeds of up to 420 mph. These versions saw extensive service in the Pacific Theatre.
