Originally developed for the US Navy, the Brewster Buffalo saw service with several Allied forces, including the RAF, during the early stages of the Pacific War. Although soon outclassed by faster and more agile Japanese fighters, the Buffalo played a key defensive role in Malaya, Singapore, and the Dutch East Indies. RAF Buffalo pilots faced challenging conditions, from harsh tropical weather to relentless enemy advances, yet their efforts remain a testament to resilience in the face of adversity.
