Focke Wulf FW190 A-3 (1/48) 61037
The Focke Wulf FW190 A-3 was one of the Luftwaffe’s most formidable fighters of World War II. Designed by Kurt Tank and powered by the improved BMW 801Dg air-cooled radial engine producing 1,700hp, it combined speed, manoeuvrability, and ruggedness in a compact and powerful airframe. Entering service in 1941, the FW190 quickly established air superiority over the English Channel, outperforming the Spitfire Mk.V until the introduction of the Spitfire Mk.IX in mid-1942.
