History:
Introduced in 1944, the King Tiger combined the armour of the Tiger I with the sloped armour design of the Panther, resulting in exceptional battlefield survivability. Powered by a Maybach HL 230 P30 V12 petrol engine, it was armed with the powerful 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71 gun capable of destroying any Allied tank at long range. The production model featured the Henschel turret with simplified manufacturing design. Although mechanically complex and fuel-hungry, the King Tiger became a feared presence on the battlefield. Its heavy armour and firepower cemented its reputation as one of the most iconic tanks of WWII.
