Tamiya Jagdpanther Late Version (1/48)
The Tamiya 1/48 Jagdpanther Late Version kit accurately recreates one of the most formidable German tank destroyers of WWII. Introduced in 1944, the Jagdpanther combined the firepower of the feared 88mm PaK 43 gun with the chassis of the Panther tank, delivering a powerful balance of mobility, armour, and offensive capability. Its sloped armour offered improved protection, and the wedge-shaped silhouette became a distinctive presence on both the Eastern and Western Fronts.
Serving in limited numbers, the Jagdpanther proved highly effective in ambush and defensive roles, most notably during the Ardennes Offensive. Despite its strengths, production delays and fuel shortages limited its overall battlefield impact, but its design influenced post-war armoured fighting vehicles.
