Krupp Towing Truck w/37mm Pak (1/35) 35259
This 1/35 scale kit depicts the Krupp Protze Kfz.69 light truck towing the 3.7cm Pak 35/36 anti-tank gun, as used by the German Wehrmacht from the early stages of WWII. Based on the civilian Krupp L2H43 truck introduced in 1933, the military version gained the nickname “Boxer” due to its air-cooled flat-four engine. The improved L2H143 variant, producing 60hp, became the standard production model and served in roles ranging from personnel transport to artillery towing.
The Kfz.69 configuration was specifically designed for anti-tank units, carrying the gun crew and ammunition cases, with the Pak 35/36 hitched at the rear. This combination saw widespread use in campaigns across Poland, France, the Balkans, and Russia, remaining in service until replaced by heavier towing vehicles as the war progressed.
- Highly detailed Krupp Protze Kfz.69 truck with accurate chassis, suspension, and flat-four engine.
- 3.7cm Pak 35/36 anti-tank gun with full elevation, traverse, and crew positions.
- Includes ammunition cases, stowage, and seated/standing crew figures for realistic diorama settings.
- Authentic markings for multiple WWII theatres of operation.
An ideal kit for depicting early-war German anti-tank units in action or on the move.
