This reissued 1/24 scale kit from Tamiya recreates the Lotus Europa Special, the final and most refined version of the lightweight British sports car. Produced between 1966 and 1972, the Europa was known for its innovative mid-engine layout, fibreglass construction, and race-inspired engineering. The Special variant featured a 1,558cc ‘big valve’ twin-carburettor engine producing 126hp, a five-speed gearbox, and distinctive alloy wheels, bringing increased power and performance to the compact chassis.
