M26 Pershing (1/35) 35254
The U.S. Medium Tank M26 Pershing was introduced late in the Second World War to counter heavy German armour such as the Tiger I and Panther. Armed with a powerful 90mm M3 gun, the Pershing combined strong firepower with excellent mobility, making it a formidable opponent on the battlefield. First deployed to Europe in February 1945, approximately 200 Pershings saw combat in the final months of the war, where they successfully engaged enemy armour during the Allied advance into Germany.
The M26 also proved itself during the Korean War, where it fought effectively against Soviet-built T-34/85 tanks used by North Korean and Chinese forces. Its robust design, reliable suspension, and well-sloped armour contributed to its reputation as one of the most capable American tanks of its era.
