Tamiya Light Cruiser Mogami (1/700)
This 1/700 scale model kit depicts the Imperial Japanese Navy cruiser Mogami in her original light cruiser configuration. Commissioned in 1935, Mogami was the lead ship of her class and originally equipped with fifteen 155mm guns, the most of any light cruiser of the time. Early issues with hull strength led to a major refit, and later modifications converted her into a heavy cruiser and eventually a hybrid aircraft cruiser.
