Tamiya 1/48 Panzer III A/B/C French Campaign
Panzer III A/B/C French Campaign (1/48) 32570
The Panzer III A/B/C was an early-war German tank that played a pivotal role in the invasion of France in 1940. Developed in the mid-1930s to replace the inadequate Panzer I and serve as a stopgap before the full introduction of the Panzer III, the vehicle was designed for both training and combat roles. With compact dimensions of 4.8m length and 2.2m width, it was crewed by three men and weighed 8.9 tons. Armed with a 2cm KwK 30 L/55 cannon and a 7.92mm MG34, the tank had 15mm frontal armour and leaf spring suspension. Powered by a 140hp Maybach HL 62 TRM engine, it could reach speeds of up to 40km/h.
