Tamiya Plastic Model Kit
Tamiya Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992) (1/24)
The Tamiya Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992) (1/24) captures the aggressive styling and advanced aerodynamics of Porsche’s 2022 high-performance sports car. This model kit authentically reproduces the GT3 RS’s vented hood and fenders, roof and wheel arch fins, and the massive rear wing equipped with a Drag Reduction System (DRS). The lightweight bodywork, thanks to extensive use of carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP), and the precision engineering of the flat-six engine make this kit a rewarding build for automotive modellers.
Faithful to Porsche’s attention to detail, this kit includes accurate recreations of the Weissach package’s unique wheel design, carbon fibre sections, roll cage, door straps, and headrest logos. Clear parts, metal transfers, and masking stickers are included for an authentic finish, while separate brake calipers and discs allow for realistic, movable assembly.

History:
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS has long represented the most extreme road-legal expression of the legendary 911 platform, and the 992-generation version pushes that reputation even further. Unveiled in 2022, the 992 GT3 RS was engineered with an intense focus on track performance, featuring radical aerodynamics including a large swan-neck rear wing with an active DRS system, multiple air vents, and aggressive downforce management. Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six producing 525 PS, it delivers razor-sharp handling and blistering acceleration. Porsche’s extensive use of lightweight materials, including CFRP for major body panels, and its precision-tuned suspension ensure that the GT3 RS is as capable on the circuit as it is exhilarating on the open road. This model continues the RS tradition of blending motorsport technology with road car usability.
