Tamiya Rah-66 Comanche (1/72)
This 1/72 scale kit from Tamiya recreates the advanced RAH-66 Comanche, a stealth-capable, multi-role helicopter developed by the U.S. Army. Designed to perform reconnaissance, attack, and observation missions, the Comanche featured cutting-edge stealth technology, compact design, and heavy firepower. Although the programme was eventually cancelled, the RAH-66 remains an iconic symbol of late Cold War-era military innovation.

The cockpit includes accurately moulded seats, controls, and side panels, and the kit comes with external ordnance such as Hellfire missiles for enhanced realism. History:
The Boeing-Sikorsky RAH-66 Comanche was developed in the 1990s as a stealthy reconnaissance and light attack helicopter for the U.S. Army. Its design featured advanced composite materials, radar-absorbent surfaces, and low infrared signatures, allowing it to operate deep into hostile territory with minimal detection. Despite promising test results, the project was cancelled in 2004 due to shifting military priorities. However, the technological advances developed for the Comanche continue to influence modern rotorcraft design.
