History:
The Space Shuttle Atlantis was the fourth orbiter built by NASA and flew its maiden voyage in October 1985. As a key component of the Space Shuttle programme, Atlantis completed critical missions including the launch of interplanetary probes, construction flights to the ISS, and the final servicing of the Hubble Space Telescope. It logged over 300 days in space before its retirement in 2011. Atlantis is now on display at the Kennedy Space Center, where it continues to inspire future generations of space explorers.
