This 1/35 scale assembly kit recreates the M3 Lee Mk.1 medium tank, a mainstay of U.S. Army tank units from October 1941 until April 1943. The M3 Lee featured a limited traverse, sponson-mounted 75mm main gun, and a turret-mounted 37mm gun, offering formidable firepower for its time. The British also used it under the name “General Lee,” and together with U.S. orders, production reached 4,924 units.

History: The M3 Lee was developed as an interim design while the M4 Sherman was still under development. Its combination of multiple guns and relatively heavy armor made it a capable, if unconventional, tank in early WWII. It saw extensive service in North Africa, where it helped Allied forces counter Axis armor, although its tall profile made it more vulnerable on the battlefield.
