Tamiya US M4 Sherman Early Production (1/48)
This 1/48 scale Tamiya model kit recreates the early production variant of the iconic US M4 Sherman tank, one of the most widely produced and important Allied tanks of WWII. With over 50,000 units manufactured, the M4 Sherman proved itself in multiple theatres, offering reliability, adaptability, and strong combat performance.
The early production M4 featured a 60° angled welded hull, cast turret with a 75mm M3 cannon, and a distinctive 3-piece bolted transmission housing. Powered by a 350hp air-cooled gasoline engine and equipped with Vertical Volute Spring suspension, the Sherman was capable of 38.6km/h. It served in numerous operations, including the Normandy and Italian campaigns.
