This 1/35 scale Tamiya model depicts the U.S. M8 Greyhound, a six-wheeled armoured car widely used during WWII for reconnaissance and escort duties. Light, fast, and highly manoeuvrable, the Greyhound became a valuable asset for Allied forces across multiple theatres.

Powered by a Hercules JXD 6-cylinder engine producing 110hp, the M8 could reach speeds up to 88.5km/h and had a range of over 560km. With armour up to 32mm thick, it carried an 80-round supply for its main gun and significant ammunition for its secondary weapons. Over 8,500 were produced from 1943 to 1945, serving in Europe, the Pacific, and post-war conflicts worldwide.
