History:
The Yamaha FZR750R OW01 was introduced at the 1988 Paris Motor Show as a limited-production machine blending track-ready engineering with street-legal accessibility. Based on the championship-winning YZF750, it featured a high-revving inline-4 engine with titanium components and Yamaha’s EXUP system, enhancing low-to-mid range performance. Its lightweight Deltabox frame, race-spec suspension, and aerodynamic fairing allowed it to dominate circuits and become a favourite among collectors. Only 1,000 units were made worldwide, making the OW01 a rare and revered piece of motorsport history.
