History:
The armoured warriors of Ancient Iberia formed the backbone of tribal resistance and mercenary forces alike. While many Iberian tribes opposed Roman conquest, others allied with Carthage, serving in Hannibal’s legendary campaigns. These warriors were famed for their speed, bravery, and unique combat techniques, blending native traditions with imported arms and armour. Often adorned with crests, embossed breastplates, and decorated shields, Iberian elite infantry brought a ferocious presence to the battlefield. Whether fighting for independence or foreign coin, they earned a fearsome reputation from the Pyrenees to the Italian plains. This Victrix set reflects their stature and detail with superb historical accuracy and modelling potential.
