History:
The Royal Artillery played a crucial role throughout the Napoleonic Wars, providing flexible fire support across Europe. During the Peninsular War, British foot artillery became known for its accuracy and discipline under fire, often outgunning French batteries. By Waterloo in 1815, the British artillery had refined its tactics, combining mobility with devastating firepower. Units were equipped with a variety of guns, including 6- and 9-pounders, and howitzers for indirect fire. Artillery crews trained to high standards and adapted to battlefield conditions with precision. This Victrix set allows you to represent these vital support units with accuracy and flexibility across multiple campaigns.
